Soooo these pictures are sooo belated, but after Jared's first birthday party we were really busy and I just realized I hadn't put any birthday pics on here. Jared had a great party with lots of family! His favorite as you will see was the cake... he was just quivering with delight!

Aghhhhh! A monster!

Have you ever seen such a kissable monster! This was the 1st and only time he wore mittens. He had them off about 2 minutes later.

Are we bored? No way! With Jared on the loose there is always something new to do or discover. Here are a few ways he has been keeping busy during January...

Wrong! I clicked this and then realized what he was doing... he was tasting all the dirty silverware and throwning them on the kitchen floor when he was done!

He didn't want his pic taken during this escapade... I had been doing a little spring cleaning of all our old paperwork and laptop bags so I had a huge trash pile going...

One of the lap top bags hasn't been used in probably 3 years and had a few old cinnamon mentos in it.... guess who found one

I only looked over at him because he was making these big slurpy noises... that thing must have been good! There was a huge drool puddle under him too... and yes I did get that stain to come out ;)

And when mom takes away all your trash and dirty silverware you can always just go play in the bathroom.

After being stuck inside for several months this winter here Jared finaly got to go out! He and his daddy had a fun afternoon together. He was really in awe of the back yard as he cruised around on his fire engine (and yes it does too help if you lean forward... :)

The Last Leaves of 2009

We just never had time this fall to make it to the park and get some fall pictures so Jared and I trotted out to the front yard for a few quick pics last month (yes, I am just getting around to publishing them:) He never got off the blanket because he hated how the grass felt. He kept leaning over to touch it and then jerk his hand back like it bit him. He did however try to steal my camera as you will see :)
